INTRODUCTION:

The lovely family of Parasparam Trust was inaugurated in the year 1993 by a great philanthropist Thiru. Xavier Augustin. Later on during 1997 Tirumathi R. Vijayalakshmi Amma took charge of the trust and registered the trust to facilitate and initiate the excellent work which is being done today.

  • Silver Jubilee annual day function was celebrated on 07.04.2018 with gay and gaiety which included variety entertainment programme and individual soft skill performance of our children (members).
  • The prime donar Thiru. Xavier Augustin was kind enough to participate as a chief guest to honor the function.
  • M. Nandhini had scaled up at the national level carom championship meet to receive 2 lakhs prize money which is deposited in her own IOB bank account for her studies and future life.
  • Eight students members of 12th has passed their government board examination out of which 4 of them namely Nikitha, Nandhini, Muthurani and Swathi have joined to do graduate studies and 3 of them namely Sneka, Sarmila and Nagarani Divya have joined paramedical courses such as radiology and theatre technician in government medical colleges. Shanthi as taken up sales of medical agency and expected to do her higher studies next year.
  • The passed out eight members of 12th standard and two members 10th standard (Boomika devi, Bhuvaneswari) are pursuing their higher studies outside.
  • 10 new members have joined Parasparam Trust namely Veeralaksmi, Sasmitha, Boomika, Akalya, Priyadharshini, Ramuthai, Savithra, Akshaya Devi, Abinaya and Abinaya Sree to study their respective standard.
  • Skills like Carrom, Sprinting and High Jump, Painting, Elocution, Music and quoting memorized Thirukural where excelled by our inmates in School and District level Competitions.
  • Our children have toured to 8 excursion sites in and around Theni districts.
  • Kitchen Garden to grow vegetables such as brinjal, drumstick etc.,were cultivated in the kitchen garden and used them in their food preparation. Tree plantation was carried out with help of Thiru. Subha Marimuthu and the care is being taken for existing trees.
  • Step by stem reduction of dog – pets into 2 and 23 cat – pets are taken care of by the Parasparam Trust.
  • With help of kind hearted local people, inmates celebrated all the festivals of this year with gay and gaiety. Our children celebrated Deepavali Festival wearing 5 sets of new cloths with sweets and crackers with help of kind hearted donors. Children enjoyed the festival very much during Pongal our children wear new cloths with sweet pongal and sugarcane. Other festivals like Saraswathi Pooja, Vinayakar Chadhurthi, Thiru Karthikai Cristmas and Ramjan were also celebrated very well.
  • Every year National Festivals of Republic Day and Independents Day were celebrated with flag hoisting of our National Flag and distribution of sweets. Children’s Day was celebrated by our children happily.
  • Three members namely Muthamilarasi – 27.5.2018, Selvi – 6.9.2018 and Muthulakshmi – 11.11.2018 got married to leave happy life.
  • In 10 to 15 days of each and every month kind hearted donors are giving us food, notebooks and stationeries to help our children.vChildren are celebrating their birthdays with sweets.
  • For the well being of our children Yoga and Motivation classes are conducted with support of kind hearted people.
  • Two days government workshop programme was attended by Thiru. Kalimuthu at Coimbatore 27, 28 of February 2019 to learn children care and protection.
  • Thiru. Oliver made a visit to our Trust on 25th February 2019.
  • We are maintaining files and registers properly for Parasparam Trust activities which include purchase of groceries and vegetable.
  • Accounts was properly maintained and audited regularly.
  • Quarterly reports are being sent to Government Intelligence Department.
  • Periodical meetings were carried out with Children, Parents and Home management committee, properly to carry out welfare schemes and to take important decisions.

CONCLUSION:

Parasparam Trust always needs the kind hearted and lovable support of monetary, usefull materials for the growth of the organization to reach its goal on the upcoming days ahead and we need the extension of your valuable support for the ongoing activities of Parasparam Trust for to achieve its goal of self sustainability of rural female children.
